During his stay in Istria tried to besides lying on the beach to see something interesting of the attractions available in the region. Some places already knew, but there were also those, the existence of which we learned only being in Istria.
Such a new place, which as far as we can discern, do not reach too often, tourists from the Polish town of Hum. According to wikipedia is the smallest town in the world.
The town is inhabited reportedly only 14 residents. Hum history dates back to the twelfth century. Many of the existing buildings is very old. After walking around town like the living museum.
W Humie znajduje się wiele miejsc z napisami wykonanymi głagolicą, pismem starosłowiańskim znacznie starszym niż cyrylica. Próbki tego pisma zobaczyć można na panoramie nr 3 z wnętrza bramy miejskiej.
It is not easy to get there,It is very helpful navigation. He guides us along paths, which we can not recommend. We do not know yet, is there a better approach from a different direction. We returned to the Hum of the road leading from Rovinj to Rijeka.
For such a small town here a lot of buildings, there are even up to two churches. You can find here a few souvenir shops and local handcrafts. There are several guest houses and an inn, which we use.
