The construction of the castle in Chęcinach started at the turn of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, and one of the initiators of this project is mentioned frequently Czech king Wenceslas II, biskupa Krakowa Yesterday Muskatę, Nicholas Sieciesławowicza coat Odrowąż or Ladislaus the Short (before the coronation).
