little Fatra, Slovakia – Virtual tour

Date of execution: 2016-10-01.

The Mala Fatra as interesting tours to the mountain, I heard immediately after the, as I took my first job in Bielsko-Biala. Colleagues, residents of Bielsko-Biala, who after all had top (and they have) almost here, you can say “under his breath” They are leaving in these mountains often and I recommend them. I was a little surprised, and even for me it was kind of a phenomenon. The Mala Fatra living in Lower Silesia have not heard even once. Maybe that's why, that they were lying, or at the top or outside border of the country and to go there you had to earn foreign currency, passport (then enough suitable rubber stamp my passport)?
It was only after almost 40 years of living near the Polish-Slovak border, and I decided to see how Little Fatra.
Directions from Bielsko-Biala to Little Fatra is not too onerous, though not run there (a pity) no highway. On location in Terchovej, in the valley, in which you find Vratna cottage was already a lot of cars, but (free!) the parking lot there were still for us free space.
In order not to push too hard we decided to leave the gondola lift Vrátna – Bread almost the same Pass Snilowską (Snilovské Saddle) and from there go along the ridge towards Bread, further by Hromove, Stieny on South Gruň. From there we came very steep descent to the cottage in the south Gruni and back to the valley, from which we set out, that is, to Vrant Cottage.
Due to the very long and very steep descent from South Gruni this tour turned out to be extremely tiresome. I guess none of mountain expeditions did not cause fatigue with us such as this transition. I felt fatigue in the legs a few days after returning from the Small Fatra.
Time of transition according to the map is completely at this, While it took us time. With all the stops, which, moreover, itself is not spared spent in Mala Fatra over 5 hours. But we have a lot of pictures and 26 panoram.
This trip includes panoramas from this set. I did not want to post all made panoramas, not to bore viewers.
For us to stay in Mala Fatra turned out to be a wonderful experience. I hope, that those, who were there will remember through my panoramas charm shown places, and for those who were not there will be encouraged to, to yourself to visit these places.
