Valtice -market (officially: Freedom Square)

Date of execution: 2017-09-02.

Valtice is located right on the Austrian border. The village is surrounded by picturesque hills, on which the soil is cultivated and grapevines are grown. Thanks to this, the landscape alone is enough to invite them. The biggest attraction of the town, however, is the Lichtenstein family palace from the Renaissance period, heavily rebuilt in the 18th century in baroque style (project by the Italian architect Anton Martinelli). The palace was the main seat of this famous European family in the Czech lands and thanks to this it really stuns with its splendor and beauty.. The entire park and palace complex Lednice - Valtice, as one of the treasures of the world cultural heritage, was entered on the UNESCO list in 1996 year. Inside there is a museum presenting the history of the palace along with the history of the family, who founded it…
