The charming part of the Western Tatras Slovak side.

Roháčska Pleso is a four lakes lying on the three levels of the joints in the Valley Rohackiej in the Slovak part of the Western Tatras. Are located in the upper part of the valley, the left side orograficznie Roháčský Stream, separates them from the front elevation heaped Green. Są to:
- Wyżnia Pond Rohacki (Pond dawned Rohacki)
- Indirect Ponds Rohackie (Intermediate and Small Pond Rohacki)
- Nizhny Pond Rohacki (Great Pond Rohacki)
These joints are of different origin. The lowest was built at the bottom of the boiler glacial, middle in the bed of the glacier that flows channeled to Rohackiej Valley, the highest, draining towards the Valley of the Burned, was formed at the bottom of the tank firnowego later destroyed by erosion. For a long time beauty of these joints and the surrounding area attracted tourists. Nizhny Pond was called up by former Marine Orava tourists Eye.
TANAP made educational path with a well-prepared tourist trail, benches, tables and shelters for tourists, and information boards about the nature of this area. According to these tables around the joints live 22 species of mammals and 46 species of birds, m.in. kozica, marmot, Tatra vole, red deer, Water Pipit, wren, Ring Ouzel, capercaillie, blackcock, grouse, brown bear peeks here, wilk, lynx. From mountain plants commonly grow here: Love Climbing, green hellebore, omieg mountain, buttercup platanolistny, prosienicznik jednogłówkowy, Shashanka alpejska, golden cinquefoil, Modrzyk mountain, monkshood, bitterness dotted. Ponds also took a liking to a few pairs of mallard ducks, who fed and tamed by tourists swim to the shores.
