Pałac Moritzburg – one of the many German castles on the water. The baroque palace is located in the town of Moritzburg in Saxony near Dresden.
It was built between 1542-1546 as a hunting lodge for Duke Moritz Wettin. The chapel was added between 1661 i 1671 designed by Wolf Caspar von Klengels and is a good example of the early Baroque. In the years 1723 i 1733 at the request of Augustus II the Strong, Elector of Saxony and King of Polish castle was rebuilt as, to be able to serve as area, has led to the establishment of the park. Remodeling projects held by two architects – Matthäus Daniela Pöppelmann i Longeloune.

Decorative elements from multiple locations within the castle are dedicated to the courtly art of hunting. The specimen deer antler is considered the world's largest. Jena z sal (Monströsensaal) contains a collection of 39 pathologically deformed antlers, together with the famous 66 point antlers.
Living accommodation includes comfortable furniture and silverware made in Augsburg on the model of Versailles of Louis XVI furniture. Pheasantry park is located at the end of the main axis of the garden, the canal leading to the main castle. Construction is solid cube, dome roof has high vaulted ceilings. From the castle from the garden staircase descends to the sinking of the ground floor, currently planted with grass. To the palace situated on an island planted with rows of trees leads dike. The project was commissioned pheasantry Johann Daniel Schade (1730-1798), who was the architect of most of the royal building projects. Completed around 1776 year. The old pavilion was completely rebuilt from the foundations. His buildings served as the breeding grounds of birds, where grown pheasants for hunting. Pavilion has been renovated to 2007 r.
