Sheep Mountain (1220 m n.p.m.) This dome-shaped peak in the south-eastern part of Silesian Beskid, second (the Skrzyczne) highest peak of this band. At the same time the highest peak in the Polish part of Cieszyn Silesia and the Polish Upper Silesia.
Mountain lies on the border counties of Cieszyn and Zywiec. The peak is located in the town of Wisła.
On the western slopes of water-head area of ​​the Vistula: there streams flow source (White and Black Wisełka) ? area is a protected area spring area. Forested slopes of fir and beech with an admixture of ash, maples and spruces; position artificially introduced limb and mountain pine. There are outcrops of sandstone gruboławicowego Istebna.
Nature reserve “Sheep Mountain” surface 386 ha covers lots of mountain peaks along with the headwaters of the Vistula. In addition, under the protection of the nature reserve “Wisla” watercourses are subject Wisełka, White Wisełki and Raspberries (protection of brown trout). Interesting flora: a very rare plant in Poland is here tocja Moravian Carpathian and aconite and fireweed hangs (frequent in the Sudetenland, rare in the Carpathians).
