Skansen was founded in 1976.
A huge area there are approximately 30 objects (still waiting for the assembly of a similar number of other objects) such as houses, farm buildings, complete stall, church, windmills. Objects are usually fully equipped with furniture and equipment, so that visitors can meet with a very realistic conditions of rural life in Kielce in the nineteenth and twentieth.
