Arad is an important industrial center, m.in. production of rolling stock, obrabiarek, fertilizers, Furniture. The city is the cultural center, m.in. theater, philharmonic, Museum. Hub, from the railway station and the airport Arad.
Arad from the tenth century was under the rule of Hungary. At the turn of the sixteenth – The seventeenth century in the Ottoman Empire, then again in the country of Hungary.
