Busko Zdroj was established in the southern part of the city at the site, where in the eighteenth century were operated salt source (cooking salt).

Building Sanatorium 'Marconi’ was built in 1836 by the famous Warsaw architect Henryk Marconi Italian descent (1792-1863), autora m.in. Henryk Marconi wzorując się na starorzymskich obiektach użyteczności publicznej wybudował obiekt na kształt litery ‘T’, made up of high main body and two-storey side wings. W pijalni wód mineralnych w holu głównym sanatorium ‘Marconi’ znajdują się kolumny z głowicami korynckimi, as if to form a gate in four directions, and looking up, see decorative small gallery. The Concert Hall, direct us plaster statues of Orpheus and Eurydice. In the concert hall on both sides of the wall, between the mirrors on the columns are placed busts of Roman gods.
