Świątynia zbudowana została na przełomie XV i XVI stulecia. Gruntowna przebudowa budynku odbyła się w latach 1584-1587 z inicjatywy ówczesnego właściciela Chobieni Georga von Kottwitza. Obiekt przebudowywano także w 1780 year, restaurowano w I połowie XIX wieku oraz, after the destruction of 1945 year, repaired in 1962 year.
The church is single-nave, oriented structure with a narrower, three-sided presbytery. To the body of the temple from the sacristy and two chapels, from the west ? massive tower of the orthogonal projection passing in octagon. The body of the aisle is oskarpowany and topped with a gable roof. Massif tower is covered with a dome pyramid. Over the nave there is a flat ceiling, over the presbytery vault with lunettes. The walls of the temple preserved Renaissance epitaphs.
